Social images setup on blog

/ 1 min read

Over the weekend, I finally updated the old blog so that I can post to social media sites. I use Astro to build the site, and Tina CMS to manage all the media and posts. When I insert an image into the blog post itself, it will take that image and use it for open graph OR, it will generate an image as a card, and use that instead. The latter part was already built in, so I can’t take credit for that but the social media images I can!

The next step will be to dockerize the site itself since I tend to bounce around from computer to computer at home or work. I’d also like to write a script or something that will automatically post to Mastodon when the site builds or create a button that will post on my behalf. I plan on doing a bit more research throughout the week to see what makes the most sense.

Anyways, I’ve been revisiting the early 2000s Autechre lately, since I haven’t given it much of a listen as the earlier and later works. Here’s draft 7.30
